Recordly (Open Source): Screen Recorder + Editor
Recordly is an open-source screen recorder/editor for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
It combines recording and editing in one desktop app, with features for:
- timeline edits (trim, zoom, speed regions, annotations)
- cursor effects
- webcam overlays
- frame/background styling
- MP4 and GIF export
- saved project files (
.recordly) for reopening work
I have not tested it yet, but this is on my short list to try in a real workflow.
