What I Work On & Write About

Photography & Printmaking

I’ve been taking pictures for decades, focusing primarily on observational photography—capturing what happens without staging or interfering. My recent photographic projects include analog film and darkroom work with my son, custom lens/filter experiments, and small-batch bookmaking (such as bespoke saddle-stitch imposition on a Canon PIXMA PRO-200).

AI Systems, Agents & Economics

I’m interested in the practical, operational side of AI: autonomous multi-agent orchestration, agentic software maintenance, local tooling, and the economics of cheap machine cognition and verification loops. Rather than focusing solely on frontier hype, I care about what actually works reliably in real workflows.

Craft, Code & Practical Guides

From building web utilities (like the Weave Pattern Visualizer) and weaving projects, to vegetable fermentation, 3D modeling, astronomy observing guides, and practical Canadian financial navigation (such as RDSPs and the Disability Tax Credit).
